| What is an Interim Manager? |
|
Interim managers or interim executives are individuals with a great deal of business experience, who are placed within organisations to fulfill strategic roles and bring fast results. Not really. A management consultant will offer new insight and practical advice to a business, but they are employed by their consultancy, and consequently are ultimately working for the benefit of their firm. However, an interim manager will be working for your business, usually in a full time capacity, until their project is finished. They work to increase the efficiency and profitability of their client, and are judged solely on their ability to deliver real benefits to the business. Our feedback from clients tells us that interim managers are preferred over management consultants as they are dedicated to the business and rather than simply offer advice, they provide tangible "hands on" solutions. Will an interim manager work for my business? Most directors and executives are aware of some area of their business which could be improved to increase efficiency, or have a project which needs finishing. In many such cases an interim manager can bring valuable insight and practical advice which can transform these areas of a business. We have put together a range of articles and case studies written by our interim managers, which demonstrate real life scenarios where their expertise has been called on, click here to read them. |
